Viva Las Vegas, and San Francisco

Another quick post, a stickie note to myself to fill out the details later. I'm suffering from a double bout of jet-lag and spring allergies, so I will write more when I am lucid.

We had a fun-filled ten days out west. First, spending the weekend in Las Vegas, staying at the MGM Grand, eating good food, watching Cirque du Soleil shows, and being driven around the desert. Then we headed out to the Bay Area, to reconnect with more family, visit Napa (our first time), and see old friends (Lucy and Fernando, Paul and Karen). We even squeezed in a ball game, Giants vs. Phillies, and this time got to see Mr. Bonds himself hit a homerun (#744).

In the way of souvenirs, we bought a Vegas refrigerator magnet (of course), wine (a rose and a cabernet sauvignon), a Ted Baker sweater (me), a sports jacket (Roger), makeup (me again), and two more Wii remotes (courtesy of Fry's and Best Buy). We did not buy a Tag Heuer Aquaracer or a Ferrari, but we did look (at the Forum Shops and the Wynn, respectively).

Pictures to come shortly.
