Hot-lanta!

Roger and I spent a long weekend in Atlanta to attend the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology, where we got to see our friends Grace Chen and John Kim, and hang out with other Hitchcock fellows and their families. We rented a plush Ford Fusion, complete with leather seats, to drive around the city. Meanwhile, I made the most of my ped-savvy skills and got to learn all about the MARTA and the Buc.

Things that we learned about Atlanta, general info:
- Be sure to define clearly your ACC -- Atlantic Coast Conference (Go Yellowjackets!), American Craft Council, or American College of Cardiology;
- Do not attempt to drive down Peachtree Street in the middle of the day or evening;
- There is a 2-1 little-dog-to-human ratio in the city;
- Be sure to visit beautiful Ansley Park, trendy Midtown, and super-trendy Virginia-Highland.
Eating in Atlanta:
- Do not eat sushi at Nickiemoto;
- Do not ask for Pepsi (see Atlanta's World of Coca Cola);
- A Matte Latte at Teavana at Phipps Plaza is even better than a regular latte;
- Go to the Varsity for a tasty Frozen Orange drink;
- Go to the Buckhead Bakery for some yummy Carolina Grits;
- Go to the Flying Biscuit for (what else) tasty biscuits;
- Lastly, "Chick-fil-a" is pronounced "chick-filet".
