Twin down!

In preparation for our fourth game at Fenway this year (Roger's fourth, my third), we watched a little bit of game 1 of the Red Sox-Twins series on Friday.

My least favorite part of the game was when Twins centerfielder Torii Hunter went down after scaling the green outfield wall trying to catch David Ortiz's fly ball. Ortiz, a former Twins player, was noticeably dismayed, as were the NESN broadcasters.

Bat-girl, a cool Twins baseball blogger has posted an interesting Lego reenactment of the game.

Another baseball injury, earlier in the week, caught us gasping. Former Cub and current Red Sox phenom pitcher Matt Clement was carted off the field after a line drive caromed off the right side of his head. To support our player, I would buy a Clement t-shirt over the weekend.
