Look Who's Thirty!

Roger and I celebrated our 30th birthdays last week. As we met when "[we were] just seventeen" (Beatles reference), we've known each other for almost half of our lives. Amazing!

Less than thrilling things that occurred this past week. The Red Sox did NOT sweep the Yankees, although the Cubs did regain some ground in the NL Wild Card Standings. We are hoping that the BoSox will regroup soon and be even better and stronger for the play-offs.

In the meantime, when we're not watching NESN, we are catching up on our "Sex & the City." We are latecomers to the party that is SATC. We've been renting a DVD each week and are now two-thrids into Season Three. I didn't think Roger would enjoy the show this much! Hee hee. He even bugs me to reveal future plot points - What happens to Trey? Does Aidan come back?

The new Sunday night star is Fox's "Arrested Development". We've been watching it since Episode 01. It is hee-larious. We especially like the inept Buster and his jealousy towards adopted brother An Yang. And the rivalry between Michael and GOB. The freshman show received its first Emmy for Best Comedy Series last night. Hooray!
